About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Sweet Louziye (“Sweet Louziye”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) when you access sweetlouziye.com, create an account, place an order, or use our related services. If you do not agree, do not place an order or continue using the website.

Product-specific information, an accepted corporate quotation, an order confirmation, and any policy expressly incorporated into an order also form part of the agreement. If there is a direct conflict, the more specific term for that product or order will apply to the extent of the conflict.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right or supplier obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable United Arab Emirates law.

02

Eligibility, authority, and accounts

  • You must have legal capacity to enter a binding contract and use an authorised payment method. If you order for a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind or act for them.
  • You must provide current, complete, and accurate order, billing, contact, and delivery information and update it if it changes.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity under your account, except to the extent caused by our breach of applicable law.
  • We may request reasonable verification before accepting or fulfilling an order and may restrict an account where necessary to address suspected fraud, misuse, security, or legal requirements.
03

Products, presentation, ingredients, and allergens

Sweet Louziye offers Lebanese almond biscuits in a range of flavours and gift presentations, including Glass Jars, Prestige Boxes, and Luxury Trays. We take reasonable care to present products accurately, but colours, finishes, arrangement, packaging details, and perceived scale may vary slightly because of screen settings, photography, seasonal materials, handcrafted presentation, or product updates.

Ingredients and allergens

Our core products contain almonds. Other allergens and cross-contact risks can vary by flavour, ingredient, production process, or packaging. Always review the product page and the ingredient, allergen, storage, and best-before information supplied with the product before consumption.

If you or a recipient has an allergy, intolerance, dietary restriction, or medical concern, contact us before ordering. Unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing for a specific item, we do not guarantee that a product is free from traces of other allergens handled in the relevant production or fulfilment environment.

Do not consume a product if its seal, packaging, condition, ingredient information, or allergen information causes concern. Contact us promptly and retain the product and packaging while we review the matter.

04

Orders, availability, and contract acceptance

Website listings are invitations to place an order and are subject to availability. Submitting an order is your offer to buy the selected products under these Terms. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself mean that we have accepted the order.

A contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or confirm dispatch, whichever occurs first. Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel all or part of an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailability, an obvious pricing or description error, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, or legal or safety concerns. If we cancel an accepted payment for an item we will not supply, we will arrange a refund of the amount collected for that item.

Quantities may be limited. We may apply reasonable limits per customer, account, address, payment method, promotion, or order where necessary to maintain fair availability or prevent misuse.

05

Prices, payment, taxes, and promotions

  • Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website, normally UAE dirhams for the UAE market. Applicable taxes, delivery fees, and other charges will be shown where required before you confirm payment.
  • We may change prices prospectively at any time. A change will not affect an order already accepted, except where correction is required by law or you agree to the change.
  • If a price or product detail is obviously incorrect, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and refund any amount collected for it.
  • Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Their additional terms and security checks may apply. A payment may be authorised, reserved, or captured at different stages depending on the method used.
  • Discounts, promotional codes, gift cards, or credits are subject to their stated validity, eligibility, exclusions, and usage limits. Unless expressly stated, they cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied retrospectively.
06

Corporate, bulk, and personalised orders

A corporate, bulk, event, or personalised order may be governed by an accepted quotation, invoice, purchase order, artwork approval, specification, minimum quantity, deposit, production schedule, or delivery plan. Those agreed documents take priority over these general Terms for the relevant order.

  • You are responsible for reviewing names, messages, addresses, branding, quantities, flavours, packaging, and artwork before approval.
  • Changes requested after approval may be unavailable or may affect price and timing. We will not make a change unless we accept it.
  • You confirm that you have the right to provide and authorise any name, logo, design, message, image, or other material supplied to us and that its use will not infringe another person’s rights or violate law.
  • Because customised and perishable orders are prepared for a specific customer or occasion, cancellation, return, or refund rights may be limited to the extent permitted by law and the accepted quotation.
07

Delivery, timing, and risk

Available delivery locations, charges, cut-off times, and estimated windows are shown at checkout or agreed for a corporate order. Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed service in writing. We may use third-party couriers.

  • You must provide a complete and accessible address, correct contact details, and any building, access, or recipient instructions reasonably needed for delivery.
  • Delivery may be completed to you, the named recipient, a person appearing authorised at the address, reception, concierge, or another location you instruct, where reasonable and permitted.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes on delivery to you or an authorised recipient, subject to any mandatory consumer rule that applies.
  • If delivery fails because information is wrong, access is unavailable, or no authorised recipient can receive a perishable order, we may charge reasonable redelivery or handling costs where permitted.
  • For an international order, the recipient may be responsible for import restrictions, duties, taxes, customs clearance, and local charges unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

We are not responsible for delay caused by an event outside our reasonable control, but we will handle affected orders in accordance with applicable law and Section 13.

08

Cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds

Your mandatory rights for defective, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, or materially misdescribed products are not limited by these Terms. If an order arrives with a problem, contact us promptly with the order number, a description, and reasonable supporting photographs where available. Keep the product, seal, label, and packaging until we provide instructions.

Because biscuits are food products and may be perishable, hygiene-sensitive, opened, made to order, personalised, or prepared for a specific event, a change-of-mind cancellation or return may not be available after preparation, dispatch, opening, or delivery to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect a legal right relating to a defect, non-conformity, safety issue, or incorrect supply.

After assessment, an available remedy may include replacement, re-supply, store credit, partial refund, or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law. Approved monetary refunds are normally made to the original payment method; bank or payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control.

Do not return food without contacting us first. An unauthorised return may be unsafe or unsuitable for processing and does not automatically qualify for a refund.

09

Acceptable website use and intellectual property

The website and its text, product names, branding, logos, photographs, graphics, layouts, videos, recipes, packaging presentation, and other content are owned by or licensed to Sweet Louziye and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the website for personal shopping or legitimate business purchasing. You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
  • Use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, harmful code, unauthorised access, data harvesting, or interference with security or operation.
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, authority, order purpose, or payment entitlement.
  • Use our branding, product imagery, or content in a way that suggests endorsement, resale authorisation, or association without written approval.
10

Feedback, submitted materials, and third-party services

If you send a review, photograph, suggestion, artwork, message, or other material, you confirm that it is lawful, accurate where it states facts, and that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it. We may moderate, decline, or remove content where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, relevance, or platform reasons.

The website may link to or integrate third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, couriers, maps, social networks, or communication tools. Their services are controlled by their operators and may be subject to separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for an independent third party’s acts except where applicable law makes us responsible.

11

Website and product disclaimers

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally contain an error, be interrupted, require maintenance, or display information that becomes out of date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Serving suggestions, lifestyle images, gifting ideas, and general product information are provided for presentation and convenience. They are not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Product-specific labels and written confirmations for the relevant order should be followed.

Any warranty, condition, or representation implied by law remains in effect to the extent it cannot legally be excluded.

12

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability protected by mandatory law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweet Louziye will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss caused by information or instructions supplied incorrectly by you, an unauthorised use of your account, or a third-party service outside our reasonable control.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability arising from a particular product or order will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the affected product or order. This limitation does not reduce any mandatory remedy available to a consumer under UAE law.

13

Events outside our reasonable control

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by an event we could not reasonably control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, supply interruption, power or network failure, government action, customs delay, epidemic, fire, flood, civil disturbance, or courier disruption.

We may suspend the affected obligation for the duration of the event, use a reasonable alternative, or cancel the affected part of the order. If applicable law requires a refund or other remedy, we will provide it.

14

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update these Terms prospectively to reflect changes in our services, operations, technology, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted with a revised date. Terms in effect when an order is accepted generally continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

We may suspend or terminate website or account access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, suspected fraud, material breach, unlawful use, or legal compliance. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as payment obligations, intellectual property, liability, governing law, and accrued rights—survive termination.

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may assign our rights and obligations as part of a genuine business transfer if your mandatory rights are not reduced; you may not transfer an order or these Terms without our consent unless law permits.

15

Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms and any non-contractual matter connected with them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to any mandatory consumer-jurisdiction right, the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction.

Please contact us first about an order or complaint so we can review it. You may also use any complaint or dispute-resolution channel available to you under applicable UAE law.
